Purple Paradise is a friendly-game exclusive community map for the Bounty event.
Layout[ | ]
This map is completely open, with no obstacles to hide behind. There are lone walls in each corner of the map accompanied by a narrow strip of bushes right next to them. In front of the spawns are launch pads on each side of the map. The map is horizontally and vertically symmetrical, except for the placement of the jump pads.
Purple Paradise is a map designed for 1v1 matches. The open layout and mode showcases a player's overall skill against other Brawlers. The bushes are thin and provide little to no advantage while the launch pads shorten the wait time between duels.
Tips[ | ]
- This map is the best to test your 1v1 skills.
- This map can also be used to try out some new skills.
- Long-ranged Brawlers and Brawlers with wide attack radius are great in this map since it's open and lacks bushes.
- Try to take out the enemy Brawler at the beginning of the match to shift the tide of matches instantly. If the enemy uses the launch pad immediately, camp near the center to take them out once they land. Otherwise, collect the star and run away.
- This is a very good map to test different Star Powers and Gadgets for different Brawlers in 1v1 situations. If certain Brawlers are hard to play, use this map to practice said Brawler.
- Try and play passive as you waste your enemies ammo, when they do, you can push up and get the kill. Dodging enemy shots is a crucial skill to master in order to play well on this map,
- You can use the jump pad to get the first star quickly and to potentially give yourself a small advantage over the enemy team.
- Thrower Brawlers are not a good option to be played as this map lacks walls.
- Short-ranged Brawlers is also not ideal as this map has enough space.
- Piper with her Homemade Recipe is very useful. She can deal lots of damage in long range and use her Gadget to finish off targets out of her range. The map's lack of bushes favors her Snappy Sniping Star Power which she does not need to enter a bush for usage.
- Bea can melt through the enemy's health with her charged shots. She can basically guarantee a kill by using her Super with a charged shot right after and auto-aiming 2 more shots.
- Crow can be great for this map, as he can give great control to your team by keeping the enemy team back via his poison.
- Try to avoid using close-ranged Brawlers in this map like El Primo as they act as Super-charging stations for long-ranged Brawlers.
- Nani is fantastic for this map when you can learn her special attacks. She can do very high damage and her Super with her Autofocus Star Power can wipe out an enemy easily.
