荒野亂鬥 Wiki

"Byron deals with potent medicaments, but never call him a snake oil salesman!"

Byron is a 神話 Brawler that has low burst-damage potential and health, but can provide a large amount of healing utility to his team. His attack fires a single long-range dart, dealing a small amount of damage over time if it hits an enemy, but applies healing over time if it hits an ally. His Super tosses a vial of liquid that splashes on the ground, dealing damage to all enemies and healing all teammates in its splash radius upon impact. His Gadget, Shot in the Arm, consumes one bar of ammo while healing him for a short amount of time. His first Star Power, Malaise, momentarily halves all possible healing effects for enemies if they are hit by his Super. His second Star Power, Injection, allows Byron's attack to pierce through allies and enemies alike every 3.5 seconds.

Attack: Careful Dose[ | ]

"Shoots a long range dart that can hit both opponents and friendlies. Opponents will take damage over time and friendlies will heal over time."

Byron shoots a single projectile that deals damage over time to enemies over 2 seconds, doing a total of 3 hits. However, if the projectile hits a friendly Brawler, it will instead heal his teammate over time, healing the same amount of damage as he would deal to an enemy. The attack and healing effects will stack, unlike Crow's, which means attacking the same enemy or teammate multiple times will add to the amount of damage or healing. Byron's healing will not decrease if his attack hits an ally with a shield active (i.e. Rosa). Byron has a very slow attack cooldown of 0.5 seconds, but he has a relatively fast reload speed.

Super: Full Treatment[ | ]

"Throws a vial that heals friendlies and damages opponents."

Byron lobs a vial that can be thrown over walls which will both heal himself and allies and damage enemies within a 2.67 tile radius once it crashes onto the ground. Like his attack, this only charges his Super if it damages an enemy, and the healing does not decrease if it hits an ally with a shield.

Gadget: Shot In The Arm[ | ]

"Byron uses one of his shots to heal himself 800 per seconds for 3 seconds."

Byron consumes one ammo while healing himself for 800 health per second over 3 seconds, healing a total of 2400 health. Note that it takes roughly 0.5 seconds to use this Gadget, much like an ordinary attack of his.

Star Powers[ | ]

Malaise[ | ]

"Byron's Super will also cause opponents to receive 50% less healing from any source for the next 9 seconds."

With this Star Power, Byron's Super halves all sources of healing to enemies for 9 seconds. This will affect healing from Gadgets, Star Powers, Supers, attacks, self-regenerating healing, and other healing effects.

Injection[ | ]

"Every 3.5 seconds the next basic attack will pierce through targets."

With this Star Power, a bar appears over Byron, similar to Sprout's Overgrowth Star Power. When the bar is charged up, the next basic attack will pierce through enemies and teammates. Like Sprout's first Star Power, Byron does not need to have all three ammo for the bar to charge. In this way, Byron can simultaneously damage enemies and heal allies.

Tips[ | ]

  • Byron has very low immediate damage potential and should be played similarly to Crow. For maximum value, make sure the enemy is poisoned at all times. This disables their ability to heal.
  • Byron's Super should be used when two or more Brawlers are next to each other. This can double its value while also making sure his teammates or he himself can regain control.
  • Using Byron's Super at close range on an enemy can also increase its value since you are both damaging the enemy and healing yourself.
  • Byron can deal a lot of damage but not consistently and has low health, so try and keep your distance with opponents to stay alive.
  • Since his attacks can also heal, he will be more effective in team modes since in Solo Showdown he is not able to use this ability.
  • Byron's long range, fast projectile speed and healing abilities make him a great asset in Bounty.
  • Byron's auto-aim only aims at teammates when there are no boxes or enemies in range, and auto-aim prioritizes enemies over teammates.
