X Marks the Spot

X Marks the Spot is an official map for the Knockout event.

Layout[]

To each spawn's left is a small line of walls and bushes. To the right of each spawn is a large cluster of bushes that is covered by a thin layer of walls and water outside of it. The middle has walls making the shape of a "+" plus sign, with a thick circle of bushes covering it. On either side of the middle is a small body of water with walls on one side, with spikes to the side of the water. The map is diagonally symmetrical.

Tips[]

Brock can destroy the bushes in the middle with his Rocket Fuel Gadget to expose enemy cover, if this is combined with another sharpshooter (such as Bea), they can dominate the middle.
Buzz can get his super by camping in the left bush, since most people rush to the middle in this map, which will give him an advantage in the other rounds.
Rosa can thrive in the middle bushes from her Plant Life Star Power and once the poison closes in, it will be easy to pickoff sniper Brawlers.
Nani's curving main attack is quite effective in scouting the bushes in the middle, due to the fact that it can goes around the unbreakable walls. Nani is also generally good in this map with her high damage output, long range, and Super, which deals lots of damage, especially with her Autofocus Star Power.
Janet's gadget, Drop the Bass can be used to scout all brawlers in the middle and stop their auto-healing, forcing them back so your team instantly gains control of the middle.

On 31/08/22, X Marks the Spot was added back to the game. The environment of X Marks the Spot was changed from the Stunt Show theme to the Arcade theme.
On 05/10/22, X Marks the Spot was featured in the Mecha Squad Challenge as a Stage II map. X Marks the Spot was affected by the Energy Drink Modifier.
On 25/04/23, the environment of X Marks the Spot was changed from the Arcade theme to the Stunt Show theme.
On 16/06/23, X Marks the Spot was featured in the Hardest Challenge as a Help Stage map.
