Trio Showdown

"Go alone to fight in the Showdown Arena! Whoever's still standing at the end wins.
Collect Power Cubes to increase your Health and Attack damage. There are poison clouds closing in, so keep moving!"

Trio Showdown is a Seasonal Event that was introduced during the August 2024 update for the SpongeBob SquarePants event. It is similar to Duo Showdown in format, except in Trio Showdown, there are 4 teams of 3 players each. Each team's goal is to eliminate the other teams and be the last team standing.

When a Power Cube is gained, it is shared between teammates. If a teammate dies, they will respawn after 15 seconds, if at least one player on the team is still alive. When they respawn, they will start over with no Power Cubes, and have an immunity shield for 3 seconds. If all three players in a team are defeated at once, that team is eliminated.

• On 27/08/24, Trio Showdown was temporarily added to the game.
• On 04/09/24, the immunity shield was removed if a defeated player respawns inside the poison clouds.
• On 12/09/24, fixed a crash in Trio Showdown matches.
