Sprays

Sprays are in-game cosmetics introduced in the April 2022 update that can be unlocked after reaching 450 Trophies. Sprays function similarly to Pins, but instead of popping out in an emote display, they are imprinted on the ground under the player when used. Only one Spray can be put onto the ground per player, and they can only be removed when a new Spray is used. Unlike Pins, Sprays do not have a cooldown, cannot be muted, and are visible to both teammates and enemies. Sprays cannot be used when the Brawler is facing an obstacle or when inside a bush. Exclusive Sprays have a twinkling animation when placed on the ground.

Obtaining Sprays

• The Green Checkmark, Red Cross, and Starr Logo Sprays are unlocked automatically for free.
• Brawler Sprays can be unlocked by obtaining them from Starr Drops, or by buying them in the shop for 19 Gems or 750 Bling each.
• Mythic, Legendary, and Hypercharge skins come with a spray bundled in.
• Brawler Hypercharge Sprays could be unlocked by purchasing the Collector's Pack for that Brawler.
  • For Shelly, the Collector's Pack would be available for purchase after completing a quest requiring winning 25 matches in Hypercharge Unleashed event.
• Common and Exclusive Player Sprays can be unlocked by obtaining them from Starr Drops, or by buying them in the shop for 29 Gems or 1000 Bling each.

• The Tire and Double Chevron Sprays could be unlocked in the paid version of the Season 12 Brawl Pass at Tier 20 and Tier 43 respectively.
• Tempest Tara and Daruma Mr. P Sprays can be obtained by buying separate packs in the shop that include the skin that is represented by each Spray.
• The Crash Test Spray could be unlocked by winning the Crash Test Challenge on 12/05/22.
• The Champion Spray could be unlocked by winning the Daredevil Challenge on 22/06/22.
• The Starfish and Shark Sprays could be unlocked in the paid version of the Season 13 Brawl Pass at Tier 20 and Tier 43 respectively.
• The Bad Randoms Spray could be unlocked by winning the Bad Randoms Challenge on 27/07/22.
• The BT21 skin Sprays can be obtained in the shop for 19 Gems after buying the corresponding skin.
• The Clash of Clans Spray could be unlocked by winning the Clash 10th Anniversary Challenge on 03/08/22.
• The Solo Showdown Spray could be unlocked by winning the Solo Showdown Challenge on 15/08/22.
• The Duo Showdown Sprays can be obtained in two ways:
  • The first Spray can be obtained by completing Stage IV in the Duo Showdown Challenge on 17/08/22.
  • The second Spray can be obtained by winning the challenge.
• The Brawl Ball Spray could be unlocked by winning the Brawl Ball Challenge on 19/08/22.
• The Rank Sprays could be obtained in multiple ways:
  • The Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond, and Mythic Sprays can be unlocked by winning once in their respective stages in The Hardest Challenge.
  • The Legendary Spray can be unlocked by winning once in The Last Stage in The Hardest Challenge.
  • The Masters Spray can be unlocked by winning the The Hardest Challenge.
• The Robot and Wild West Sprays are unlocked in the paid version of the Season 14 Brawl Pass at Tier 20 and Tier 43 respectively.
• The Heist Spray could be obtained by winning the Heist Challenge on 26/09/22.
• The Gem Grab Spray could be obtained by winning the Gem Grab Challenge on 28/09/22.
• The Bounty Spray could be obtained by winning the Bounty Challenge on 30/09/22.
• The Esports Spray could be obtained as the October 2022 Monthly Finals reward.
• The Mecha Mortis Spray could be obtained by purchasing Mecha Mortis's bundle.
• The three Ghost Train Sprays could be obtained by winning once in the first stage of the Ghost Train Challenge, winning once in the second stage, and winning the Challenge, respectively.
• The Ghost Train and Ghost Tunnel Sprays could be unlocked in the paid version of the Season 15 Brawl Pass at Tier 20 and Tier 43 respectively.
• The Rock Spray could be obtained by winning The Rocky Challenge on 09/11/22.
• The Paper Spray could be obtained by completing a special quest required to defeat 30 enemies in Gem Grab, which lasted from 09/11/22 to 14/11/22.
• The Singles Day Spray could be obtained by purchasing a bundle for $0.99 on 11/11/22.
• The Denied Spray could be obtained by completing a special quest required to deal 500,000 damage points in Wipeout, which lasted from 14/11/22 to 21/11/22.
• The Grandmasters Spray could be obtained by winning the Even Harder Challenge on 18/11/22.
• The Omega Box Spray could be obtained on 04/12/22 as a free reward for defeating 1.5 billon enemies.
• The Anniversary Cake and Anniversary Celebration Sprays could be obtained for free as a free gift on 12/12/22.
• The Santa Hat and Reindeer Horns Sprays could be obtained for free as a gift on 17/12/22.
• The Crown and Sweet Tooth Sprays could be unlocked in the paid version of the Season 16 Brawl Pass at Tier 20 and Tier 43 respectively.
• The Lunar Brawl 2023 Spray could be obtained by completing a special quest required to win 9 battles, which lasted from 16/01/23 to 22/01/23.
• The Brawlentine's Sprays could be obtained by winning the Complete Me Challenge on 11/02/23.
• The Fire Punch Spray could be obtained by gaining 1000 points at event.brawlstars.com during the Monthly Finals 2023.
• The Brawlywood and Location Sprays could be unlocked in the paid version of the Season 17 Brawl Pass at Tier 20 and Tier 43 respectively.
• The Duels Spray could be obtained by winning the Duels Challenge on 15/03/23.
• The Basket Brawl Spray could be obtained by winning The Basket Brawl Challenge on 21/03/23.
• The Good Randoms Spray could be obtained by winning the Unlimited Tries Challenge on 01/04/23.
• The Easter Spray could be obtained by completing a special quest required to win 5 battles in Duo Showdown, which lasted from 07/04/23 to 13/04/23.
• The Bling Spray could be obtained by winning the It's Bling Time! Challenge on 25/04/23.
• The Golden Week Spray could be obtained for free as a free gift on 29/04/23.
• The Jungle Spray could be unlocked in the paid version of the Season 18 Brawl Pass at Tier 20.

• The Sad Clown Spray could be unlocked in the paid version of the Season 21 Brawl Pass at Tier 20.
• The three Magic Trick Sprays could be obtained by completing a special quest required to win 5, 10, and 15 battles respectively, which lasted from 06/11/23 to 31/12/23.
• The Brawlidays Candy and Santa Kiss Sprays could be obtained for free after purchasing the Santa Stu skin offer.
• The Cartoon Spray could be unlocked in the paid version of the Season 22 Brawl Pass at Tier 21.
• The Dragon Claw Spray could be unlocked in the paid version of the Season 23 Brawl Pass at Tier 21.
• The Brawlnaval Spray could be obtained for free after purchasing the Flag Bearer Piper skin offer.

• The Brawl Like a Girl Spray could be obtained by completing a special quest required to win 3 battles, which lasted from 08/03/24 to 12/03/24.
• The Bunny Brigade Spray could be obtained by completing a special quest required to win 8 battles, which lasted from 30/03/24 to 01/04/24.
• The Timeout Spray could be obtained by gaining 1000 points at event.brawlstars.com during the Monthly Finals 2024.
• The Shocked Spray could be unlocked in the paid version of the Season 25 Brawl Pass at Tier 21.
• The Monster Egg, Godzilla Team, Mechagodzilla Team, and Caution Sprays could be obtained for free from Monster Eggs during the Godzilla event.
• The Godzilla Footprint Spray could be unlocked in the paid version of the Season 26 Brawl Pass at Tier 21.
• The Passcode Spray could be unlocked in the paid version of the Season 27 Brawl Pass at Tier 21.
• The Strong Spray could be unlocked in the paid version of the Season 28 Brawl Pass at Tier 21.
• The Stinky Cheese Spray could be obtained by purchasing it for $4.99 on 14/07/24, along with the France Rooster Pin and the Oh la la Profile Icon.
• The Shield Spray could be obtained by gaining 5000 points at event.brawlstars.com during the Monthly Finals 2024.
• The Blobfish Spray could be unlocked in the paid version of the Season 29 Brawl Pass at Tier 21.
• The Jellyfish Spray could be obtained by completing a special quest required to defeat 25 enemies, which lasted from 23/08/24 to 29/08/24.
• The Angry Blobfish Spray could be obtained by completing a special quest required to defeat 25 enemies, which lasted from 23/08/24 to 29/08/24.
• The SpongeBob Smile Spray could be unlocked in the paid version of the Season 30 Brawl Pass at Tier 21.
• The SpongeBob Sprays could be obtained by purchasing them as bundles with Krusty Kash during the SpongeBob event.
• The Mooncake Sprays could be obtained as free rewards during Moon Festival 2024.
• The Sushi Sprays could be obtained as free rewards between 02/10/24 and 09/10/24.
• The Slime Spray could be unlocked in the paid version of the Season 31 Brawl Pass at Tier 21.
• The Candy Corn, Zombie Brain, and Zombie Thumbs Up Sprays could be obtained for free from Dead Boxes during Brawl-o-ween 2024.
• The Tier 30 Legacy Spray could only be obtained if the player had at least one Brawler at Tier 30, or 1000+ Trophies, before the Angels vs. Demons update.
• The Handshake Spray could be unlocked in the paid version of the Season 32 Brawl Pass at Tier 21.
• The Angel, Angel Heart Hand, Demon Heart Hand, and Demon Breaking Sprays could be obtained from Angelic and Demonic Drops.
• The Starr Toons Pass Spray could be unlocked in the paid version of the Season 33 Brawl Pass at Tier 21.

Player Sprays

These Sprays are not Brawler exclusive and can be obtained by various ways, such as through the Starr Drops, the Brawl Pass, Challenges, and the Shop. In the Rumble Jungle update, Power League-exclusive Sprays can be obtained by completing special quests in Power League. In the February 2024 update, Power League was removed from the game and replaced by Ranked, allowing players to obtain the Power League and Ranked Sprays from Ranked Starr Drops.

• On 27/04/22, Sprays were added to the game.
• On 12/05/22, fixed an issue where the Spray VFX would appear on your own brawler when someone else in range would use a Spray.
• On 29/06/22, the cost of Brawler Sprays was decreased to 19 Gems (from 50 Gems), and the cost of Common and Exclusive Player Sprays was decreased to 29 Gems (from 50 and 60 Gems respectively).
• On 05/07/22, fixed an issue where Sprays were not usable for Brawlers.
