Solid Center

Solid Center is a community map for the Gem Grab event.

Layout[]

This features a medium-sized map featuring two symmetrical lanes leading to the central area. The central area is dominated by a solid, open space surrounded by large walls that block off any easy access from the sides, making it a stronghold that requires effort to break into. The lanes on the outside are filled with rocky obstacles and bushes, providing cover for flanking and ambushing. There is little open ground between the central and outer areas, so brawlers need to be strategic with movement and positioning to control the game.

Tips[]

The central area is crucial for winning the match. Ranged Brawlers like Piper, Brock, Rico, Janet, Maisie, Belle, Carl, or Amber can control this space from behind cover, forcing enemies to fight for access. Keeping the center locked down will give your team a strong advantage.
With the walls around the center, players will funnel through tight choke points to enter. Area control Brawlers like Barley, Sprout, Mr. P, Frank, Emz, Penny, Dynamike, Tick, Amber, or Willow can dominate these points, placing attacks that prevent enemies from moving through or forcing them to retreat.
Leon is a great pick because he can use his Super as he walks into a bush to trick his enemies into thinking that he has gone invisible. This allows him to heal up in the bush whilst his enemies scan the arena, thereby wasting their ammo.

On 28/02/23, Solid Center was added to the game.
On 08/03/23, Solid Center was featured in the #BrawlLikeAGirl Challenge as a Stage I map.
On 25/04/23, the environment of Solid Center was changed from the Candyland theme to the Deep Sea theme.
On 16/06/23, Solid Center was featured in the Hardest Challenge as an EZ Stage map.
On 27/06/23, Solid Center was removed from the game.
