While the ship is tilted, it's faster to walk downward with the tilt, and slower to walk upward against the tilt. Walking toward either end of the ship at a partial upward or downward angle is also affected by the speed, though to a lesser extent than walking directly up or down.
The map is diagonally symmetrical.
- To move faster to the other end of the ship, walk in that direction at a moderate angle (approximately 30 degrees or greater), toward the downward tilt.
- The tilt of the ship can be used to dodge enemy attacks by moving away much faster than usual.
