Maze Creep is an official map for the Trophy Thieves event.

Layout

The map's trophies are blocked by barriers only separated by smaller bush patches. The side lanes have a larger bush clusters growing outwards towards the map's corners.

Tips

  • The side bushes are more fit for heavyweights, the right lane provides less bushes as Brawlers move towards the enemy team's side.
  • Going through the center is the safest option but requires a Brawler that can maneuver around obstacles quickly.
  • Brawlers playing the side lanes will have to support their middle lane teammate time to time. As a result, long-ranged Brawlers aren't recommended.
  • The open space around the trophies' spawn locations means throwing trophies immediately to teammates should be the side lane Brawler's goal.
  • Leon is a good option for this map because there are lots of bushes to hide in to turn invisible, and his Lollipop Drop Gadget can be placed around the exits, where the lollipop is covered from enemy fire but its radius can cover it, along with adjacent exits, making the progression of Leon's team more unpredictable.
  • Sandy's attacks can peek around walls, and his Super is a good alternative to Leon's Lollipop Drop Gadget, and with his Rude Sands Star Power, he can scout out enemies hiding in bushes without taking too much fire himself.
  • Gale is also a very good option for this map, mainly because of his Twister Gadget. He can place it near an opening to force the enemy to take a deadlier alternative where an ambusher may be hiding in a nearby bush.

History

  • On 16/6/21, Maze Creep was added to the game.
