"Stuck giving autographs to his rabid fans at Starr Toon Studios, cartoony superstar Kit often daydreams of becoming relevant in the industry again, respected for his acting chops rather than his looks."
Kit Portrait

Kit is a Legendary Brawler who has a short range, low health and moderate damage output, but immense utility with his Super in his normal mode. In his alternate form, he has a long range and very high damage output. Kit's normal form attacks with a quick short-ranged claw with an extremely fast cooldown and reload speed. His Trait allows his Super to charge itself over time. For his Super, Kit quickly jumps a moderate distance. If he jumps on an enemy Brawler, he stuns and deals damage to them over time. If Kit jumps on an ally Brawler, he momentarily rides them, transforming into his alternate form and healing them over time in the process. Kit's alternate form attacks by throwing his ball of yarn over obstacles that blow up and deal high damage in a medium radius, while making him invulnerable. For his alternate form's Super, Kit jumps off the ally Brawler and transforms back into his normal form. His first Gadget, Cardboard Box, doubles his Trait's Super charge rate if he is standing still and makes him temporarily invisible to enemies. His second Gadget, Cheeseburger, heals him and his allies in his alternate form. His first Star Power, Power Hungry, increases the health and damage buffs from every Power Cube collected. His second Star Power, Overly Attached, increases Kit's alternate form duration.

Trait

"This Brawler charges Super over time."
Trait-Auto

Kit's Super charges automatically over time, similar to Darryl. It takes 20 seconds to fully charge his Super without other Super-charging abilities.

Attacks

Basic: Claws

"Claw nearby enemies in a cone."

Kit attacks with a quick short-ranged claw, hitting enemies in a wide cone. The cooldown is extremely fast, and it takes 0.25 seconds to complete.

Attached: Yarn Balls

"Kit throws yarn balls while attached to a friendly Brawler, dealing damage in an area."

Kit throws a ball of yarn over obstacles that bounces upon hitting the ground, and blows up after 1 second, dealing massive damage to any enemies caught in its 1.5-tile blast radius. However, Kit has a slow reload speed and slower attack cooldown in this form.

Super: Carry Me

"Jump and attach to the back of another Brawler. Heals allies and damages enemies over time."

Similar to Edgar, Kit jumps into the air and over obstacles briefly before landing onto the area where the Super was aimed. If there are lakes, his jump range is extended to the nearest ground. While in the air, Kit is completely immune to all damage besides status effects and damage applied over time. When he lands on an enemy Brawler, he instantly deals damage to them, and stays attached to them for 2 seconds, during which he stuns them and deals 250 damage over time. However, when Kit lands on an ally Brawler, he attaches to them for 10 seconds. While attached, Kit heals the Brawler he is attached to over time for 10% of their maximum health per second and transforms into his alternate form. After 10 seconds, if the ally Brawler is defeated, or Kit uses his Super in the alternate form, he jumps off, transforming back into his normal form.

Gadgets

Cardboard Box

"Hide in a cardboard box becoming invisible for 3 seconds. Charges the Super 100% faster while stationary."
GD-Kit1
Visibility Warning

When activated, Kit hides in a cardboard box, turning himself invisible for 3 seconds, allowing him to either retreat or ambush an enemy. Similar to Leon's Super, if Kit takes damage during the Gadget activation, he will momentarily be visible. In addition, if Kit stands still, the effectiveness of his Super charge rate from his Trait is doubled.

Cheeseburger

"Heals himself and the friendly Brawler he is attached to for 30%."
GD-Kit2

Upon activation, Kit heals the friendly Brawler he is attached to for 30% of their maximum health. This Gadget can only be activated if Kit is in his alternate form.

Star Powers

Power Hungry

"Kit gains 150% power from each Power Cube."
SP-Kit1

This Star Power increases the damage and health buffs from every Power Cube collected by 1.5x.

Overly Attached

"Kit attaches to friendly Brawlers for 5 seconds longer."
SP-Kit2

With this Star Power equipped, Kit's alternate form lasts 5 seconds longer, increasing its duration from 10 to 15 seconds.

Tips

  • Kit's Super is best used in team game modes, where he can attach to an ally and deal massive damage with his attack, while also healing himself.
  • Do not jump on an enemy if they have their teammates near them. Instead, use the Super on isolated enemies to allow your teammates to finish them off, or onto low health enemies to defeat them.
  • Kit is a decent choice in Showdown as while he lacks in damage output and health, he has a lot of mobility and map control to make up for it. His Power Hungry Star Power is an excellent choice for Showdown as every two Power Cubes he obtains counts as three, so he gets more powerful quicker than others. He works better in Duo Showdown as he can heal his teammates, control and damage his enemies while being invulnerable, and acquire double Power Cube buffs. His Cardboard Box Gadget is also useful, as it allows him to speed up his Super charge rate, sneak up on enemies, or flee from enemies.
  • Be aware that Kit's Super will be cancelled if used on enemies currently moving during their Super such as Buzz or Chuck, with Kit even being pulled along and suffering the aftereffects of the Super. As such, try not to target such Brawlers when they're in situations where they are anticipating using their Super, granting you the element of surprise.
  • If Kit is attached to a teammate when a round resets, he will have his Super when the next round begins. This allows Kit to use his yarn ball attack to guarantee a kill without worrying about wasting his Super.

Strategies

  • Kit is powerful with tanks such as Draco or Darryl as Kit can instantly heal a good amount of health with his Cheeseburger Gadget and do a good amount of damage when attached. Kit can also heal a good amount of HP overtime to the attached teammate.
