Island Invasion

Island Invasion is a community map for the Lone Star event. It was originally released as one of the Showdown maps.

Layout

Island Invasion is a map that is a mostly circled island. There are 4 corners where players spawn. Like other maps, this one has lots of coverage by bushes. The center is partially squared off. Finally, the inner walls allow you to dodge some attacks. Overall, the outer-side is covered with bushes while the inner side is mostly open.

Tips

Bo is great for this map once you obtain his first Star Power, Circling Eagle. He is able to see in the bushes to ambush enemies and escape opponents. Bo is viable even without Circling Eagle, commanding the middle and placing mines with his Super.
Bull, Shelly and El Primo are close-ranged brawlers who can easily get a great ambush in this map.
Leon and other brawlers when played right can sneak up, ambush, kill, and retreat.
Escaping higher leveled players is easy in the start because you can run into the bushes and they can't see you.
Darryl in this map is good for escaping. He can roll over the water to escape faster from brawlers like Shelly, and Bull. Aim Darryl's Super the CORRECT way, or else you will end up back where you started.
Barley and Dynamike can throw over walls allowing them to damage enemies behind the middle walls.
