"Dynamike lobs two explosive sticks of dynamite. His Super attack is a whole barrel full of dynamite that blows up cover!"
Dynamike Portrait

Dynamike is a Common Brawler who is unlocked as a Trophy Road reward upon reaching 2000 Trophies. He has low health and high damage output. He attacks by throwing sticks of dynamite that blow up and deal damage in a small radius. When he uses his Super, he throws a large barrel bomb that does very high damage in a large radius around it and knocks back enemy Brawlers when it detonates. The dynamite and the barrel bomb can both be thrown over walls. His first Star Power, Dyna-Jump, enables him to use his dynamite's explosion to jump over walls and Brawlers while doing damage. His second Star Power, Demolition, adds 1000 damage to his Super.

Attack: Short Fuse

"Mike tosses two sticks of dynamite, passing over any obstacles in the way. The fuses are cut as short as Mike's explosive temper!"
Dynamike throws two sticks of dynamite at a time that blow up after a short delay and deal heavy damage to any enemies caught in their blast radius. The two sticks spread out a short distance from each other perpendicular to the direction of the throw as they travel, and they detonate simultaneously. If both sticks land on the enemy he is attacking, he can do twice the damage.

Super: Big Barrel o' Boom

"A big-bada-barrel of dynamite blows up cover. Any surviving enemies get knocked back on impact!"
Mike throws the barrel bomb that he carries on his back. The bomb can be thrown a fair distance, and when it detonates, it deals very high damage to enemies within its large blast radius. Any Brawlers that survive the damage are knocked back from the bomb's former location. The bomb will also destroy walls and bushes.

Star Powers

Dyna-Jump

"Dynamike can ride the blast wave of his explosives to jump over obstacles!"
Dynamike's main attack and Super propel him a short distance away from the detonation point. He can also use this to jump over walls. While in the air, Dynamike is completely immune to all damage besides damage applied over time.

Demolition

"Adds +1000 damage to Mike's Super."
Dynamike's Super gains +1000 damage. However, this does not change its explosion radius, knockback, or the type of map features it can destroy.

Tips

  • Dynamike's dynamites can do some massive damage if thrown correctly. Since the dynamite takes a bit of time to travel and blow up, instead of trying to throw it directly at the enemy, try throwing it where they are likely to be by the time the dynamite goes off.
  • Hiding behind a bush with a wall in front of it and throwing the dynamite toward the enemy Brawlers from there can be effective since it will be difficult for most other Brawlers to reach you.
  • When being chased by an enemy at close range, try throwing your dynamites a bit in front of you. This either makes your opponent stop chasing or take damage from your attack.
  • Try throwing your Big Barrel o' Boom to attack two enemies, as it will charge again and you can throw another Big Barrel o' Boom instantly.
  • In Showdown, if your opponent is near the gas, you can throw your Big Barrel o' Boom to push them into the gas for them to take extra damage.
  • In Gem Grab or Siege, throwing a stick of dynamite near a Gem/Bolt can drive opponents away from it, allowing Dynamike or his teammates to get the item more easily.
  • Dynamike's damage radius decreases as he throws the sticks closer to himself, making it significantly harder to hit enemy Brawlers that have managed to get close to him.
  • Mortis is a huge counter to Dynamike due to his above-average speed and dashing capabilites. Watch out for Mortis before he can kill you.
  • For advanced player's with abnormal timing skills: If you can aim Dynamike's Super and a couple stick of dynamite, you can get the Super to push enemies into the dynamites and deal extreme damage to them, usually killing them unless they are Tank Brawlers like Bull, Rosa, Frank, or El Primo.
  • After obtaining his Dyna-Jump, it is effective to escape from nasty situations by throwing dynamite at your feet. This will not only damage nearby enemies but also throw you back some distance, avoid damage, and allow for a speedy escape over walls. In desperate situations, his Super will propel him even further, making it a more reliable tool for escape while also being able to damage and even kill enemies due to the large amounts of damage dealt by the Super.
  • Though the timing is tricky, it is possible to jump over enemy attacks with Dynamike's Dyna-Jump. This is rare, but can help in sticky situations when under heavy fire.

Jumping with Dyna Jump

To practice with Dynamike’s first star power Dyna Jump, the player must get Dynamike power 9 and obtaining the star power by either buying it with 2,000 coins, with gems, or the easiest way, is by getting it from boxes. Jumping with dynamike can sometimes be frustrating and hard since timing and prediction shots can sometimes be tricky. Jumping only once with dynamike is also not always going to help in some situations especially if the player is trying to jump over the enemy without any walls or protection. However there is way to fix the problem, and that is by triple and double jumping with dynamike’s star power.

First things first, what a beginner dynamike jumper must know is that when the player throws the sticks away from dynamike, the teo sticks are actually more separated from each other making it easier for the player to hit shots with dynamike. However, if the player needs to shoot the sticks closer to dynamike, the sticks will be much more contact with each other or in other words close to each other making it harder to hit the shots. So the player wants to keep the enemy as far away from dynamike as possible so it will easy to get consistent damage on the enemy.

Now, in order to jump once with Dyna Jump, the player must stand still in training cave or a friendly game and place the sticks either in front of dynamike or behind. Make sure that dynamike’s whole body should be covering about half on the explosion radius of the sticks. Once that is in place, the player can release and you see how if dynamike outs his sticks in front of him, he will jump backward and if he puts the sticks behind him, the dynamike will jump forward. Now once the player has mastered this type of single jumping they can now jump while moving dynamike. The player must now move dynamike straight across the ground with the movement joystick. When dynamike is moving, the player must place the dynamite so that dynamike’s body is covering about 1/4 of the explosions radius. When the player lets go of the dynamites and continues moving, they will see that right when dynamike covers half of the explosion radius, the dynamike will jump and than continue to move straight if the player still has his/her finger on the movement joystick.

Once the player has this motion settled and is comfortable landing shots and doing single jumps while moving, this paragraph will now move on to the next step, which is double jumping with Dyna jump. Double jumping is significantly harder to master than the single jump, however practice will help master the concept. The player must now do the same motion as the single jump shown in the paragraph above, however, once they reach the point of explosion of the first dynamike, the player will need to place a second dynamite on the place where thy think dynamike will land after the first explosion. This requires very precise timing so sound is recommended while practice. After a while, the player will know by feeling when they need to put down the dynamites. So once the first dynamite explodes, dynamike will jump and than the second dynamike lands and dynamike will jump again. This will help getting past enemies and by outsmarting them. It will also be easier to move around and escape from enemies.

In the last paragraph, we went over how to double jump. In this paragrpah, you will learn a much more advance technique also known as triple jumping. To triple jump, the player must repeat the steps of the double jump however, when the second dynamite is about to explode, the player must put down one more pair of where they think dynamike will land. Timing will be much more trickier here, so practicing without moving is a better way. The player should also practice next to walls in training cave since the walls reduce how much time dynamike is in the air thus, making it easier to land double and triple jumps.

After mastering triple jumping or just double jumping with dynamike, the player can learn or make up specific combos of how they are going to get past or damage an enemy with dynamike’s main or super attack. The most common way is just placing dynamike’s regular attacks and jumping with only those sticks. However, this method is actually harder to master. There is another method to make is easier to Alin your jumps and that is by using dynamike’s super abiltiy. Since dynamike’s super bomb duration is a bit longer than his regular attacks, it will be easier to land double and triple jumps. Dynamike will also travel much further with his super. Listed below are different ways to double, triple jump, and to do more jumps with dynamike’s first star power.
