Deep End is an official map for the Knockout event.

Layout[]

The map has 3 lakes on each side, some walls and some bushes at the beginning and a square full of spikes and bushes in the middle. The map is diagonally symmetrical.

Tips[]

  • Long-ranged Brawlers are highly recommended on this map, due to the lack of walls and bushes.
    • It is advised to have one long-ranged Brawler positioned behind each wall, focusing on obtaining chip damage and charging supers before getting more aggressive and attempting a teamwipe.
  • If there is a short-ranged Brawler in the enemy team, take advantage of the spikes. The central bush opening can temporarily trap opponents, allowing for effective baiting tactics.
  • When switching sides go across the lakes if possible. If not, go through the center left and right spikes and immediately move outward away from the middle lane.
  • The bushes in the center provide minimal defense for Brawlers but more often than not enemies will be able to read your patterns. Piper's Homemade Recipe Gadget can also be used to reveal your location.
  • Avoid trying to go into the centre, as if the spikes come up while you are, you will easily get pinched. For aggressive playstyles, it is better to focus on the side lanes, where only two tiles of spikes are present.
  • Brawlers with wide attacks like Poco, Emz or Sandy are useful for covering the bushes in the middle, since the area is very limited and surrounded by spikes, meaning if an enemy tries to escape the middle, they will instead, take damage.
  • Sprout is an excellent Brawler as its Super can block the enemy team from going into the middle, making Sprout extremely useful when the poison clouds close in. Alternatively, you can use its Super to remove the spikes on your side so that your team has a constant entrance and exit to the middle bush cluster.
  • Belle is also a good choice for this map as her shots can bounce between enemies for three times, she should keep on repeating this until two enemies die, then she can go in the bushes in the middle and simply kill the last player.
  • Tick is also a great choice for this map. His shots cover a big area. Many players go into the bushes in the middle and tick can easily defeat them there.
  • Equipping the Star Power Da Capo, Poco can be really decent in this map, as most players use low health brawlers, he can quickly heal them up which causes the enemy to be in a big disadvantage.
