Coins

Coins are an in-game currency that can be obtained from the Trophy Road, Brawl Pass tiers, Quests, the Mega Pig, Starr Drops, the Pro Pass, the Daily Streak, and the Shop. Coins are mainly used to upgrade Brawlers along with Power Points. They can also be used to buy Gadgets, Gears, Star Powers, Hypercharges, as well as True Silver and True Gold skins in the Catalog.

Once players have enough Power Points for a Brawler's Level, players can spend Coins to upgrade it to the next Level, all the way up to Level 11. Each Level linearly increases a Brawler's health and damage by 10%. For example, a Level 5 Brawler has 40% more health and deals 40% more damage than a Level 1 Brawler.

A Gadget can be equipped once a Brawler is upgraded to Power Level 7. Gadgets are bought for 1000 Coins in the Gadget menu.

There are two Gear Slots to equip Gears. The first slot unlocks at Power Level 8, and the second slot at Power Level 10. Gears are bought in the Gear menu and vary in cost based on the Gear rarity: 1000 Coins for Super Rare Gears, 1500 Coins for Epic Gears, and 2000 Coins for Mythic Gears.

A Star Power can be equipped once a Brawler is upgraded to Power Level 9. Star Powers are bought for 2000 Coins in the Star Power menu.

A Hypercharge can be equipped once a Brawler is upgraded to Power Level 11. Hypercharges are bought for 5000 Coins in the Hypercharge menu.

A Buffie can be bought by randomly selecting them from the claw machine. Buffies are bought for 1000 Coins and 2000 Power Points.

Prices[]

Coins can be bought in the Shop with Gems. Buying larger Coin packs gives more Coins per Gem. When spending Gems to buy missing Coins for a Brawler upgrade, the lowest ratio of 10 Coins per Gem will be used.

True Skins[]

True Skins are exclusive skins available for purchase with Coins. They come in two varieties, True Gold and True Silver skins, with the latter needed to be bought beforehand to buy the former option. All True Silver skins cost 10000 Coins and all True Gold skins cost 25000 Coins.

Daily Deals[]

Coins could be used to buy Power Points for your Brawlers from the Shop's Daily Deals. The conversion rate for buying Power Points was 2 Coins per Power Point. Gadgets could be bought for Brawlers over Level 7 for 1000 Coins and Star Powers could be bought for Brawlers over Level 9 for 2000 Coins. Sometimes, Daily Deals also included an offer for a random Brawler in a specific rarity (up to Mythic), or an offer for a Mega Box at a reduced cost of 60 Gems. Daily Deals were removed in the December 2022 update and replaced by the Daily Freebie.

History[]

On 09/03/18, Coins were no longer used to unlock Brawl Boxes, but rather were found in Brawl Boxes, while Keys replaced them as the way to open Brawl Boxes. With this change, Coins became the means to purchase Brawler upgrades.
On 05/12/18, Coins were added to the daily free item rotation in the Shop.
On 02/07/20, True Silver and True Gold skins were introduced.
On 27/04/22, Quests could now grant Coins as a reward.
On 31/10/22, Coins could be used to purchase Gears, Gadgets, and Star Powers. The amount of Coins found in Boxes was increased to offset this change. Also, Gems could now be used to top up Coin purchases.
On 03/10/23, the amount of Coins received from Starr Drops was increased.
On 24/10/23, the default Gem-to-Coin ratio was changed to 1 Gem = 10 Coins (from 9.3). Coin packs at an adjusted cost were added to the Shop. The cost to create a Club was set to 1000 Coins.
