The Brawl Pass is a progression system introduced in the May 2020 update that allows players to progressively earn rewards throughout the Brawl Pass season. The Brawl Pass replaced the old progression system, in which 100 Tokens would grant a Brawl Box, and 10 Star Tokens would give you a Big Box.
The Brawl Pass consists of a free track, which is available to all players, and a premium track which requires a monetary purchase. By earning XP, players can unlock tiers that contain Gems, Power Points, Coins, Credits or Starr Drops; alternatively, 30 Gems can be spent to instantly unlock a tier. It costs $6.99 to unlock the premium track of the Brawl Pass for the season and unlock exclusive rewards, including one exclusive skin, Pins, Profile Icons, and Sprays, as well as additional standard rewards such as Coins, Power Points, Gems, Credits, Bling, and new non-Mythic, non-Legendary Brawlers; a special discount of $2.99 is offered to players who never bought the Brawl Pass season before and to players who didn't purchase it for six months. The Brawl Pass Plus costs $9.99 USD, and it adds bonus exclusive rewards to the premium tiers, including two additional color variations of the exclusive skin, one Titles, a 20% progression boost, and additional standard rewards such as Coins, Power Points, Gems, Credits, and Bling.
After reaching the final tier of the pass (Tier 50), Starr Drops are awarded for every 1600 XP. Animated gradient names are available for players who brought the Brawl Pass for the current season. Additionally, players will get one additional free item in the Daily Freebies section. These are removed after that Brawl Pass season ends.
Quests[]
Quests are goals given to players that reward additional XP upon completion. There are different types of Quests: Small, Medium, Hard, and Special. Small Quests are unlocked after reaching 60 Trophies, while the Medium and Hard are unlocked after reaching 250 Trophies. Some Quests are exclusive and can be progressed without buying the Brawl Pass. Two Small Quests (for 200 XP) are given daily, and they reset after 24 hours. However, three Small Quests are given daily if the player has the Brawl Pass activated. Medium and Hard Quests are given for the whole season and new ones appear daily. Special Quests last for the entire season but can only be completed once. Some special Quests reward with Power Points, Coins, Bling, Credits, or Starr Drops. Other Quests are exclusive, and reward with Pins, Sprays, Profile Icons, or Brawlers. A player has five rerolls that reset per week for the free or the paid version of the Brawl Pass, but only one Small Quest can be rerolled. Quests that are rerolled award the same number of XP but will not have the same objective nor the same Brawler/Event, and all progression on the Quest is reset.

- Duo Showdown: Collect 15/25 Power Cubes while both players are active.
- Brawl Arena: Defeat 10 bots.
Mega Quests[]
Mega Quests are hard quests that, when accomplished, give out an extra reward with the XP, such as Pumpkin Boxes. Finishing one Mega Quest unlocks the next Mega Quest, up to 3 Quests.

- Season 1: Tara's Bazaar. It lasted from May 13th, 2020 to July 6th, 2020. This season unlocked Gale, the exclusive Merchant Gale skin, and the exclusive Pins for Gale and Merchant Gale. This season contained only 60 tiers.
- Season 2: Summer of Monsters. It lasted from July 6th, 2020 to September 14th, 2020. This season unlocked Surge, the exclusive Super Ranger Brock and Mecha Paladin Surge skins, and the exclusive Pins for Surge and Mecha Paladin Surge. The pass was increased to 70 tiers, and Tier 0 exclusive skins were added to the Pass.
- Season 3: Welcome to Starr Park! It lasted from September 14th, 2020 to November 23rd, 2020. This season unlocked Colette, the exclusive Poco Starr and Trixie Colette skins, and the exclusive Pins for Colette and Trixie Colette. Pin Packs were also added to the Brawl Pass.
- Season 4: Holiday Getaway. It lasted from November 23rd, 2020 to February 1st, 2021. This season unlocked Lou, the exclusive Bellhop Mike and King Lou skins, and the exclusive Pins for Lou and King Lou. From this season onwards, Chromatic Brawlers can’t be unlocked in boxes in the free pass until the player has reached tier 30 in the Brawl Pass, and unlocking a Chromatic from a Brawl Box will affect the drop rates of other Brawlers.
- Season 5: The Starr Force! It lasted from February 1st, 2021 to April 12th, 2021. This season unlocked Ruffs, the exclusive D4R-RY1 and Ronin Ruffs skins, and the exclusive pins for Ruffs and Ronin Ruffs. Special Quests were added.
- Season 6: The Goldarm Gang. It lasted from April 12th, 2021 to June 21st, 2021. This season unlocked Belle, the exclusive Gunslinger Colt and Belle Goldhand skins, and the exclusive pins for Belle and Belle Goldhand. Skin rewards can now be previewed and tried in the Training Cave.
- Season 7: Jurassic Splash. It lasted from June 21st 2021 to August 30th, 2021. This season unlocked Buzz, the exclusive Surfer Carl and Born Bad Buzz skins, and the exclusive pins for Buzz and Born Bad Buzz.
- Season 8: Once Upon A Brawl. It lasted from August 30th, 2021 to November 8th, 2021. This season unlocked Ash, the exclusive Princess Shelly and Ninja Ash skins, and the exclusive pins for Ash and Ninja Ash. Unlike previous seasons, Season 8 Brawl Pass had rewards for all tiers.
- Season 9: Brawlywood. It lasted from November 8th, 2021 to January 17th, 2022. This season unlocked Lola, the exclusive B-800 and Rebel Lola skins, and the exclusive pins for Lola and Rebel Lola.
- Season 10: Year of the Tiger. It lasted from January 17th, 2022 to March 7th, 2022. This season unlocked Fang, the exclusive Major Rosa and Furious Fang skins, and the exclusive pins for Fang and Furious Fang. The Brawl Pass season now ends on the first Monday of every other month and Season 10 lasts for 7 weeks. Small Quests were also increased from 100 Tokens to 200 Tokens (excluding Special Event Quests).
- Season 11: Biodome. It lasted from March 7th, 2022 to May 2nd, 2022. This season unlocked Eve, the exclusive Firefly Rico and Spiky Eve skins, and the exclusive pins for Eve and Spiky Eve. Tier 0 and Tier 70 exclusive skins can now be bought from the Shop a year after they were released for Gems each.
- Season 12: The Stuntshow. It lasted from May 2nd, 2022 to July 4th, 2022. This season unlocked Janet, the exclusive Biker Carl and Valkyrie Janet skins, and the exclusive pins for Janet and Valkyrie Janet. Sprays were added to the paid side of the Brawl Pass.
- Season 13: The Deep Sea Brawl. It lasted from July 4th, 2022 to September 5th, 2022. This season unlocked Otis, the exclusive Sharktooth Colt and Pharaotis skins, the exclusive pins for Otis and Pharaotis, and the exclusive Deep Sea Brawl Sprays.
- Season 14: Robot Factory. It lasted from September 5th, 2022 to November 7th, 2022. This season unlocked Sam, the exclusive Desperado Poco and Caesar Sam skins, the exclusive pins for Sam and Caesar Sam, and the exclusive Robot Factory Sprays.
- Season 15: Ghost Station. It lasted from November 7th, 2022 to January 2nd, 2023. This season unlocked Buster, the exclusive Trash Panda Penny and Chainsaw Buster skins, the exclusive pins for Buster and Chainsaw Buster, and the exclusive Ghost Station Sprays. In the Candyland Update, Brawl Box rewards were replaced with Credits and Chroma Credits, and Power Point and Coin rewards were increased.
- Season 16: Candyland. It lasted from January 2nd, 2023 to March 6th, 2023. This season unlocked Mandy, the exclusive Gummybear Nita and Magma Mandy skins, the exclusive pins for Mandy and Magma Mandy, and the exclusive Candyland Sprays. Power Point rewards on the free and paid sides of the Brawl Pass were increased, while Coin and Credit rewards on the free side of the Brawl Pass were also increased.
- Season 17: Mystery At The Hub. It lasted from March 6th, 2023 to May 1st, 2023. This season unlocked R-T, the exclusive El Mayordomo and Crimson R-T skins, the exclusive pins for R-T and Crimson R-T, and the exclusive Mystery At The Hub Sprays.
- Season 18: The Rescue. It lasted from May 1st, 2023 to July 3rd, 2023. This season unlocked Maisie, the exclusive Jungle Queen Maisie skin, the exclusive pins for Maisie and Jungle Queen Maisie, and the exclusive The Rescue Spray and Profile Icon. The Pin Pack reward on the free side of the Brawl Pass was replaced with Coins, the Tier 0 exclusive skins and Pin Pack rewards on the paid side of the Brawl Pass were replaced with Bling, and one Spray reward was replaced with a Profile Icon.
- Season 19: Enchanted Woods. It lasted from July 3rd, 2023 to September 11th, 2023. This season unlocked Cordelius, the exclusive Sporemind Cordelius skin, the exclusive pins for Cordelius and Sporemind Cordelius, and the exclusive Enchanted Woods Spray and Profile Icon. Credit rewards on the free side of the Brawl Pass were decreased, while the Coin, Power Point, and Credit rewards after reaching Tier 70 were decreased.
- Season 20: Back to Ranger Ranch. It lasted from September 11th, 2023 to November 6th, 2023. This season unlocked Pearl, the exclusive Periscope Pearl skin, the exclusive pins for Pearl and Periscope Pearl, and the exclusive Back to Ranger Ranch Spray and Profile Icon.
- Season 21: Bizarre Circus. It lasted from November 6th, 2023 to January 4th, 2024. This season unlocked Charlie, the exclusive Rosie Charlie skin, the exclusive pins for Charlie and Rosie Charlie, and the exclusive Bizarre Circus Spray and Profile Icon. In the Starr Toon update, Chroma Credit rewards were replaced with Credits.
- Season 22: Starr Toon Studios. It lasted from January 4th, 2024 to February 1st, 2024. This season unlocked the exclusive Pinku Pawlette, Kiiro Pawlette, and Midori Pawlette skins, the exclusive Starr Toon Studios Pins, and the exclusive Starr Toon Studios Spray and Profile Icon. The pass was decreased to 50 tiers. Starr Drops were added to the free side of the Brawl Pass, and Titles were added to Brawl Pass Plus.

- The first Brawl Pass was added to the game.
- 04/06/20:
- Quests have been divided into categories (Daily, Season, Event)
- Quest icons in the Event Selection are now shortcut buttons to the Quest log.
- Brawler menu now has a Quest filter button which sorts Brawlers with Quests to the top of the Brawler list.
- Brawl Pass now has shortcut buttons to navigate between rewards and milestones inside the track.
- Brawl Pass now remembers the previously viewed tab when accessed through the main Brawl Pass button.
- Brawl Pass Exclusive Quests are now highlighted for Premium Pass owners (now highlighted gold instead of white).
- Brawl Pass exclusive Quests have been moved to the end of the list for Free Pass players.
- Gem counter is now visible in the Brawl Pass screen.
- Local notifications for Quests becoming available have been added.

- Brawl Pass Seasons no longer last 10 weeks but will start on the first Monday of every other month.

- Small Quests can now be unlocked after reaching 60 Trophies, and the Medium and Hard Quest can now be unlocked after reaching 250 Trophies.

- The Brawl Pass now costs $6.99 (instead of 169 Gems). The Brawl Pass Plus was added. The Brawl Pass Bundle was removed.
- Medium Quests now grant 500 XP (from 250) and appear daily.
- Hard Quests (500 XP) were removed.

- The rewards from the free track were increased. Tier 0 now grants 1000 Coins (from 500), tier 1 now grants 1000 Power Points (from 500), tier 25 replaces a Starr Drop with 300 Credits, tiers 26 and 28 rewards were swapped, and tier 48 now grants 3500 Coins (from 1000).
- Local prices were adjusted in over 100 countries in Latin America, Africa, Eastern Europe, and Southeast and Central Asia.
- 28/10/25:
- Mega Quests, Brawl Pass-exclusive daily Quests, and "Play Battles" and "Win Trophies" generic Quests were added. Quests are now displayed in 3 rows instead of 2.
