Belle is an Epic Brawler who could be unlocked as a Brawl Pass reward at Tier 30 in Season 6: The Goldarm Gang, or can be obtained from the Starr Road. She has low health, a fast reload speed, and a moderate damage output. Her attacks are very long-ranged bolts that bounce between nearby enemies that reload rather quickly. Her Super fires a low-damaging marker onto an enemy that increases any damage dealt to that enemy until they're defeated or when she uses her Super on another target. Her first Gadget, Nest Egg, deploys an invisible trap that deals low damage and briefly slows enemies that trigger it. Her second Gadget, Reverse Polarity, allows her next attack to bounce off of walls. Her first Star Power, Positive Feedback, grants her a brief shield whenever she hits an enemy Brawler with her attack. Her second Star Power, Grounded, temporarily disables enemies from reloading when hit by Belle's Super. Her Hypercharge, Magnetic, makes her Super home in on enemies.
Attack: Shocker
Belle fires a very long-ranged bolt that does moderate damage and attaches a bolt to the enemy. After 1 second, if there is another enemy close by to the original target, the bolt will bounce to them, dealing half the damage of the initial shot and with halved Super charge. The bolt can bounce up to 3 times. Enemies only bounce one attack to each other at a time regardless if hit multiple times from separate attacks or not. There is an attack cooldown of 0.5 seconds.
Super: Spotter
Belle's Super is a long-ranged attack that deals low damage to the target and marks it, making the damage the enemy thereafter takes increased by 35% from any source until they are defeated or Belle uses her Super on another target. Only one enemy can have this status effect from each Belle. If Belle already has a target marked, and she misses another Super, the old target is still marked. The Super's effect won't work on immobile targets like Heist safes or Siege IKEs, but can still work on the Siege Bots. It stacks on top of other damage boosting effects, acting as a reverse shield that applies multiplicatively to other multipliers, but doesn't stack with Supers from other Belles. The marker isn't visible when the target is in bushes.
Gadgets
Nest Egg

Belle deploys a trap at her current location that is visible for a second after it's placed before becoming invisible, similar to Bo's mines. The traps remain on the map until triggered by enemies walking over it. Multiple traps can be placed on the map without one of them disappearing. When triggered, it immediately deals 30.8% of her attack damage to the victim and other enemies within its 2 tile radius and slows them down for 3 seconds.
Reverse Polarity

Activating this Gadget allows Belle's next attack to bounce off of walls. Similar to Rico's and Ruffs' attacks, Belle's attack will gain 10 tiles of additional range for the first bounce. A Gadget symbol will glow above Belle's head signaling this Gadget's usage, as well as a glowing attack joystick. This Gadget's cooldown starts after this attack is shot.
Star Powers
Positive Feedback

If there is a bolt attached to an enemy Brawler, Belle receives a shield that reduces all damage she takes by 20%. This also applies to the subsequent bounce shots. If Belle hits another enemy, the strength of the shield doesn't stack.
Grounded

When Belle uses her Super to mark an enemy Brawler, the marked enemy's attacks stop reloading for 5 seconds. They can still attack with ammo they had before getting marked. Even if Belle fires another Super onto another enemy Brawler before the 5 seconds are up, the initial target is still unable to reload. This Star Power doesn't affect non-Brawler entities, such as spawnables or the Boss in Boss Fight. It does not prevent enemy Brawlers from reloading their ammo with a Star Power or Gadget, such as Colt's Speedloader Gadget.
Hypercharge: Magnetic

When activated, Belle's Super will curve towards the nearest enemy. The homing Super flies for an additional 2 tiles. She also gains a 20% speed boost, as well as a 5% damage and shield boost.
Mutation
| This section describes content that has been replaced or removed from the game. This information is kept here for historical purposes. |

Similar to Bonnie's Wisdom Tooth Star Power, Belle's attack would split into 5 projectiles that reach 2 tiles on impact with an enemy. They could not hit the enemy the attack hit, but they could hit other enemies and bounce around them. The split attacks dealt the same amount of damage as her regular attack.
Wasabi Power

Similar to Bonnie's Wisdom Tooth Star Power, Belle's attack would split into 5 projectiles that reach 2 tiles on impact with an enemy. They could not hit the enemy the attack hit, but they could hit other enemies and bounce around them. The split attacks dealt the same amount of damage as her regular attack. In addition, Belle had a slightly faster reload speed.
Tips
Game Modes and Maps
- As for all shooters, Belle is a solid pick on open maps. She can deal damage from afar, and her bouncing attack mechanic makes her a great counter against enemies who are grouped-up.
- Belle is a very consistent damage dealer, compared to other shooters like Angelo, Piper, or Bea. However, she has almost nothing to protect herself, and given her low hit points and insufficient burst damage, she can be easily defeated by assassins and close-range Brawlers once they get in range. This means she would require help from her teammates if such an occasion occurred.
- Belle is a good Brawler in Showdown maps with the Angry Robo Modifier. She can attack the robot if its following a Brawler and the attack will keep bouncing between the robot and the Brawler for a sufficient amount of time, thus causing the Brawler to have less health or even get defeated. It's less effective against Brawlers with moving abilities like Surge, Carl, Edgar, Berry, Fang, Bull, El Primo, Crow, Piper, Buzz, or Darryl who can escape.
Recommended Build
- Both of Belle's Gadgets are usable. Overall, Nest Egg gives more value to the team as she can place it in important chokepoints and lanes. Once an enemy steps on it, they will be slowed, giving Belle and her teammates plenty of time to defeat them. Reverse Polarity is somewhat restrained as it is only efficient for a single shot. However, she can use it to hit enemies who might be too far to reach by bouncing her shot, which gives her extra range. Still, unless it is used precisely and timely, Reverse Polarity is usually not as useful as Nest Egg.
- Although both Star Powers are usable, Positive Feedback is a better (most of the time). While Grounded can be useful in certain situations (i.e. by using it on a close-range Brawler once they have used their shots), Belle engages best in long-range interactions. When against shooters, the effect of this Star Power is infinitely decreased as long-range Brawlers typically require aiming and precise timing of their shots. This means that enemies will not be spamming their shots, and the five seconds debuff doesn't really do that much to alter the course of the battle. Positive Feedback, in the other hand, is much easier to acquire as all you need to do is to hit your shots. Combined with her long range, fast projectile speed and bouncing mechanic, she is able to keep her shield through most of the battle. The shield is very effective for many interactions, as it increases her survivability and allows her to stay in battle for a longer time. This makes it a clear choice in most scenarios.
- Belle's Positive Feedback Star Power's duration doesn't stack, so conserving shots is better to prolong the shield. The 20% shield gives her health equivalent to Colette, and since she doesn't have a guaranteed way to push away rushing Brawlers, conserving shots to prolong the shield gives you a better chance of surviving. This gives Belle a very good advantage in 1v1 interactions with other shooters as her survivability is increased with the shield while the enemy's health is decreased with the extra damage from her Super.
- Belle's Nest Egg Gadget is great to trap choke-points on maps such as Cavern Churn, Gem Fort, or Acid Lakes as it can force Brawlers to walk over her traps, giving the opportunity for a good ambush. Belle's Nest Egg Gadget can also be used for maximum effect in Hot Zone, where it can be used to maintain zone control by trapping it and make enemies vulnerable to being slowed and being eliminated by allies. Enemies that aren't tanks or assassins or don't have moving abilities can't travel around it and will have to step on them, guaranteeing ambushes.
Strategies
- Belle's Super can be incredibly powerful on Special Events such as Boss Fight, Super City Rampage, or Big Game as it highly increases your whole party's damage against the Boss.
- Always take advantage of grouped-up enemies, boxes, or spawns. Belle can also use her Nest Egg Gadget to keep enemies close enough for her attack to bounce more.
- The boosted damage on enemies hit by Belle's Super makes her an ideal counter to tanks. The damage boost allows her teammates and her to deal enough damage to eliminate tanks. This also works to get rid of Brawlers with a very high amount of Power Cubes in Showdown, who can prove challenging to defeat in the later stages of the game where she is limited by poison clouds to maintain her distance from enemies. However, you must maintain your distance from tanks as much as you can due to their superior health and close-ranged damage.
- Belle's low health means that getting close to enemies is not a viable option, similar to Piper. However, unlike Piper, who has her Super to escape from close-ranged Brawlers if it's charged up, Belle doesn't have much to defend herself at close range, so she's vulnerable to heavyweights or assassins. If you're running away from such a Brawler, you can lay your Nest Egg Gadget behind you to deter them from reaching you as disarming the Gadget is not possible without getting slowed. Additionally, if you have her Super charged, you can fire her Super onto the enemy so they receive more damage, and with her Grounded Star Power, momentarily disarms them. If you don't have her Nest Egg Gadget or your Super charged up, try to predict where the heavyweight or assassin will go, and stay mobile to ensure they can't reach you.
- Belle has one of the longest consistent ranges in the game. You can use this to your advantage to keep your distance and poke at Brawlers. Because of the bouncing, enemies are forced to separate and you and/or your team can trap and defeat them individually, leading the enemies into an uncomfortable situation and position. Her passive chaining bolts and their bounces force enemies to distance themselves, making them vulnerable to assassins who can pick them off individually. This allows her to combo well with assassin Brawlers like Edgar, Crow, Fang, Mico, Leon, Stu, or Cordelius.
