Battle for Katana Kingdom is an event that happened during Brawl Pass Season 38: Battle for Katana Kingdom. The event featured two new trophy events, new Brawler abilities, a new rewarding item, a new shop section, as well as a new currency.
Event Schedule[]
- Week 1: "Way of the Wasabi" - Samurai Smash
- Week 2: "Rise of the Futomaki Five" - Mega Buffet
- Week 3: "The Taste of Vengeance" - Oni Hunt
- Week 4: "The Final Cut" - Daily Contests
Sushi Rolls[]
Sushi Rolls are a special type of drops introduced in the April 2025 update for the Battle for Katana Kingdom Event. They start off with a Rare rarity that has three upgrade chances, with a possibility of upgrading to Super Rare, Epic, and Mythic. Rare Sushi Rolls contain 1 reward, Super Rare contain 2, Epic contain 4, and Mythic contain 8. They can contain Wasabi Powers, Coins, Power Points, Credits, Bling, Gadgets, Star Powers, Hypercharges, new Brawlers, and Battle for Katana Kingdom + Catalog cosmetic: skins, Pins, Sprays, Profile Icons. In Epic and Mythic Sushi Rolls 1 drop is premium and can only drop skins. When a Sushi Roll grants an event skin, it is marked in gold color, and when it grants a Wasabi Power, a wasabi is placed on top of it (currently the visualisation is half broken). When all Wasabi Powers are unlocked, 50 Coins will be awarded instead (25 if event has ended).
A Sushi Roll has a 58% chance of being Rare, a 37% chance of being Super Rare, a 3.3% chance of being Epic, and a 1.7% chance of being Mythic.
Sushi Rolls could be obtained from various sources:
- Winning the second and sixth games every day.
- Buying them for Gems, money, or from the Supercell Store.
- In Mega Buffet, you have to team up with Clubmates and collect winnings. You have to fill up the winnings meter, reach milestones to earn Sushi Rolls.
- Other sources such as Daily Contests, Shop Freebies and Special Quests during the season.
- Two free Sushi Rolls were given on 21/05 by accessing this link.
Wasabi Powers[]
Wasabi Powers are extra abilities specific to 60 Brawlers. They can be obtained from Sushi Rolls with a 20% chance of being Hot, 15% chance of being Extra Hot, a 10% chance of being Crazy Hot, and a 5% chance of being Inferno Hot. Wasabi Powers can only be active in events with the Wasabi Powers Modifier. The abilities gained from Wasabi Powers can be seen on the individual Brawler's page.

Mega Buffet[]

On the second week of the Battle for Katana Kingdom Event from 08/05/25 to 15/05/25, Mega Pig was changed to Mega Buffet. During Mega Buffet, every day all club members would receive 4 Golden Tickets to play. These Tickets could stack and could be played any day of the event. The event would have the Wasabi Powers Modifier plus one of the Mega Pig Modifiers active per game. Winning in Mega Buffet fills up a special progress meter that allows all club members to receive one Sushi Roll every time they fill the meter. It takes 10 wins to fill the first meter, and the number of wins to fill the meter again increases by 2, until completing the meter for 22 wins, where it reaches the maximum of 30 wins per meter. All Sushi Rolls could be collected immediately.
Daily Contests[]
A contest would be active every day between 10 players. Every day, players have to choose between 3 game modes on a specific map, and 4 tickets are given to all players who declared the game mode they would like to play on that day. Similar to the Pizza Planet Event, scoring at least one point in a contest will qualify you for a reward. At the end of a contest, players receive their Sushi Roll reward. The 10 players would be placed in ranks on a leaderboard according to how many points they scored during the day each contest lasts, and all players compete against players playing the same game mode available on that day. Rewards at the end of a contest depend on the placement in your leaderboard. Points could be obtained by dealing damage, taking down opponents, healing, or achieving certain game mode objectives. The final score is a sum of both teammates' points. Winning a game will also add a time bonus reward, as well as multiply your final score by 2.5. The win score multiplier is applied after the time bonus, meaning the time bonus is also multiplied by 2.5 as well. In the unlikely event where two or more players scored the same number of points, they all receive the highest reward offered for that prize bracket.
