Houdini the Trickster
Rarity: Mythic? Legendary?
Role: Skirmisher, Support
Houdini is a professional magician in the Brawl World. He is a very energetic brawler and likes a bit of chaos. He loves entertaining people with his magic and also pulling pranks on other brawlers.
Appearance: Houdini looks like those fancy magicians. He wears a top hat, a suit and tie, black pants, and black formal shoes. His weapon is a classic magic wand.
Movement Speed: 720 (Normal)
Attack: Hex Bolt
Houdini fires a fast flying purple orb from his classic magic wand that bounces off walls. It causes a small explosion at it’s max range
Range: 9.67 tiles (Similar to Rico’s)
Reload Speed: 2.1 seconds
Bullet Speed: Similar to Piper’s
Bullet Width: Similar to Brock’s
Attack Delay: 0.4 seconds
Attack Ability: Hex Bar (Similar to Bibi’s)
When Houdini’s Hex bar is full, he can cast hexes on enemy brawlers. He has two hexes.
Hex 1: Cold Feet (Normal)
Enemy brawlers will be slowed down for 2 seconds
Hex 2: Hand Cramp (Ricocheted)
Enemy brawlers will lose their 3rd ammo slot for 2 seconds. (Brock with Rocket no.4 will have 3 instead)
Hex Bar Reload Speed: 3 seconds
Super: Confusion Blast
Houdini stops moving to charge a blast around him that disables enemy brawlers from using their supers and from charging them. It also has different effects on each brawler’s super. His super is all about timing it. When a brawler didn’t used their super yet, it will still deactivate but can be used again after the effects are gone, but when a brawler’s super has projectiles or has a duration. The super will cancel them out.
Super Radius: 7 tiles (Similar to Frank’s but it goes around him)
Effect Duration: 5 seconds
Charge Rate: 5 hits
Super Delay: Similar to Frank’s
Effects on Spawnables: Turrets and other Spawnables will start attacking their teammates. Even Pam’s turret will start damaging teammates
Bad Luck: Houdini’s charged hexes lasts a second longer
Charged Hex: Houdini’s charged hexes deals additional 400 damage
Effects on Spawnables: Spawnables will start attacking their team mates for a few seconds. Even Pam’s turret will damage you.
His super is very dangerous. It cancels out everyone’s super and super charge rate for a few seconds.
His Hexes are very useful to weaken brawlers and finish them off.
His super can also be cancelled. He shares the same weakness as Frank. Any knockbacks and stuns will interrupt his super.
His super doesn’t deal any damage.
With his super delay, enemy brawlers still has a chance to get out of his super range.
-Brawlers that rely on their supers to be effective.
-Any move that has knockback or stuns.
-Brawlers that don’t really need their supers to be effective.
Houdini has a lot of mechanics that makes him pretty unique. But also makes him a bit high skill cap. His attack is not very good when auto aimed. You don’t want to waste his hex bar and his reload is pretty slow. His super is deadly but can be countered pretty well. When timed right, it is very effective.
